While the coronavirus pandemic continues to cause stress and sadness the world over, I thought it would be appropriate to provide some helpful information for members to use as a resource during these trying times. This month I am featuring resources from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) who have compiled a very accessible list for those with disabilities: “People with disabilities not only face greater risks of mortality and morbidity due to COVID-19, but also risk greater violations of civil rights and civil liberties. We will continue to add information to this page as this pandemic unfolds.”

The list of resources includes info for the deaf community, pandemic preparedness in the workplace and the ADA, tools to help children with learning disabilities continue their education at home, facts about SSI/SSDI benefits, and much more.
